Layer It On!

Got an energetic toddler who can’t wait to play outside in the cold or snow? Help keep him comfortable by dressing him in layers so you can remove and add layers as he heats up and cools down. Choose fabrics other than cotton - cotton does not add warmth. Thermal and wool clothing is good, and waterproof pants and boots are ideal for snow. Don’t forget his hat; body heat can escape from a bare head.
