Nursery® is a Steam Distilled Water for Babies and Toddlers

Nursery® Water is processed by steam distillation with added fluoride up to the recommended Canadian Paediatric Society level of 0.7ppm. The Canadian Paediatric Society recommends that children younger than three years of age should not drink water with fluoride levels much more than 0.7 ppm and that water with fluoride levels much above 0.7 ppm should not be used to mix with formulas.1 Baby drinking water by Nursery® was created in 1948 by Dr. Herman Bundeson, then Director of the Chicago Health Department. Bundeson was concerned about the sterility of municipal drinking waters when it was used to mix formulas both in hospitals and in homes. Today, Nursery® Water continues its commitment to a high standard of quality by continuously evaluating and monitoring our water so you’ll have peace of mind in knowing that you will always have a source of steam distilled water with added fluoride.
