Is Fluoride in Water Safe for My Child?

 

Yes. The Canadian Paediatric Society recommends that children younger than three years of age should not drink water with fluoride levels much more than 0.7 parts per million (ppm) and that water with fluoride levels much above 0.7 ppm should not be used to mix with formulas. 1,3

 

Nursery® Water has a fluoride level of 0.7 ppm or less.

 

In addition to water, other sources that may include fluoride, according to the CDA, are fluoride toothpaste, fluoride treatments, fluoride supplements or naturally occurring fluoride in drinking water. 2,3
